Fresh rock oysters are a tasty treat from the sea. They are abundant in the clear waters surrounding the shores of Cornwall and have a wonderful, fresh taste.
Upon arrival, they are still whole and alive and require shucking, but it’s not too difficult to do and access their delicate, smooth flesh.
Some people enjoy them plain, while others prefer to add some chopped shallots and fresh herbs.
Oysters are a great appetizer for seafood lovers. A single serving usually contains around six oysters.
